Organic Federation of Canada (OFC)

The Organic Federation of Canada (OFC) is a national body with a mandate to represent the organic industry while working with provincial, territorial and federal governments as partners on national organic regulatory issues. OFC is comprised of one organic industry representative from each province and territory, and one representative from the organic trade sector. The Organic Council of Ontario has appointed Ted Zettel as the OFC representative for Ontario. |
The OFC/FBC recently welcomed a full time Coordinator, Nicole Boudreau. Nicole has a varied background, most recently working at the CAAQ (the government agency that manages the organic designation in Quebec) as a market supervisor. Nicole attended Sherbrooke University in biology and McGill University for Film and Communication. Nicole notes that working for a cause like the development of the organic sector in Canada motivates her very much.
