The Ontario Organic Knowledge Hub

A knowledge sharing platform for evidence-based decision-making in organic

OCO fulfills an important function in connecting organic operators to knowledge and resources that can improve their businesses and practices. Over the years, we’ve accumulated a wealth of knowledge on everything from Canadian Organic Standards navigation to aquaponics to premium meat marketing. We are very excited to announce the launch of a new platform to share that knowledge.

Project Goals

  • To develop a permanent public resource through which organic operators can access certification guides, information about organic practices, production, and processing, regulation and policy information, business and marketing guidance, and acreage, pricing, yield and market data.
  • To improve access for operators, service providers, and the interested public to reliable and comprehensive information about Ontario’s organic sector and organic production broadly.
  • To facilitate connection between organic operations and throughout the value chain, so that industry knowledge may be shared and strengthened.
